ok so i was sitting at a stop light and look down to see my gauge slowly/steadly dropping. it went all the way down to E but the empty light didnt come on. i started to drive and the gauge went right back up again nice and slow. it got about half way and stopped kind of went up/down a bit. i keep driving eventually it makes it back to F.
i park at work and when i leave later on its still at Full. then 5 minutes of driving it drops to 3/4. i know i havent used 1/4 tank yet. the whole drive home it moved from 2bars under 3/4 to 1 bar over 3/4 tank mark.
its never acted like this before its always been solid dead on the line never jumping up and down.
any suggestions to whats going on?
i put this in general cause i figured gas gauges are the same for turbo and n/a
