Fuse problem

is it ok to put a 7.5a fuse in the place of a 15a fuse? i blew a 15a but dont have a replacement...

note: in thise case, i would substitute the 7.5a for the 15a in the cigarette lighter, if that helps you answer.

It is... But if you bblw a 15amp itll most likely blow a 7.5 if the current is that strong! Make a trip to safeway, kragen, the wallgrenns somthing and get some. I need to as well

answer is not so simple. i was doing the F/L thing and the fuse that i put in blew. i think it was b/c i set it up the wrong way. my plan is to take the cig lighter fuse (i dont ever use the cig lighter), which is 15a, put it into the inline fuse for the fog light thing, and put a 7.5a into the cig place. i have extra 7.5a's but no 15a. hope it works...
