I read somewhere that some cars fuel systems are effected by the engine temp (i.e. running rich or lean). Is ours....

Heat soak? It's kinda backwards from what you said. Our cars A/F ratios are affected by the fuel system's flow capabilities

When the engine is cold, and not into the closed loop operation, the ecu will be in a preset mode & feed more fuel.
