Couldn't find anything through the search so I thought I'd ask. Doing my front brakes on my 87 turbo supra and I need to tighted down the top bolt on the caliper but I can't seem to get any socket to to fit in there I'm pretty sure it's a 12mm but thin wall? Can anyone suggest what I can use or where can I get a socket to fit this?

Iirc its a 10mm. To take off you remove the lower bolt, lift up on the caliper, and slide in towards the engine to remove the caliper from the mounting braket. Reverse for installation. Its just needs to be tight but does not need to be removed to do brakes.

Finally got it off, turned out a 1/4 drive 12mm from a cheap set was just slim enough to get in there.
Going to be replacing with re-man'd ones this weekend.

Just pulled the rears the top slides are also seized.
I know this is probably a pretty obvious yes but I gotta ask anyways...just incase
If those top slides are seized on I'm probably going to have to replace them or at the very least break them loose and lube em up for the brakes to work properly?

Going to have to break them loose and relube them for the brakes to work properly, yes. Depending on how valuable your time is, it would be easier to just replace the full caliper (with the bracket).

Agreed, checked for the bushing/slider replacements from Lordco/Toyota just gonna go with reman'd ones for both.
They're stuck on there pretty damn tight.

Got the new calipers sort of on checked the parking brake shoes...there was nothing left explains why it wasn't holding
But now I've got to wait until Tuesday to order a set off of toyota because Lordco doesn't even show a listing for them at all...
Anyone got any advice where I can get aftermarket parking brake shoes?

I'm not aware of any aftermarket source for the parking brakes. Aside from having your existing shoes re-lined, new from Toyota is about your only option that I know about. They're expensive, and pretty thin even when brand new.

None available through aftermarket, and yes, they're VERY thin when new. 1mm is the minimum thickness for them. http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=BR&P=41

I'd be lucky with 1mm the driver side shoe lining was non existent and the passenger side decided it didn't want to adhere to the shoes anymore.
I guess Toyota it is thanks for all the help guys. This turned into a help with brakes thread lol.
