I posted about a week ago about an afm that had gotten carb cleaner in it. I was showing code 31 i believe and couldn't rev over 2500 or idle right. After doing some research on other car sites about this problem I decided to try one of the theories. I ended up q tipping small amounts of lacquer thinner (or equivalent residue free solvent) then pulling the cotton on the q tip into a cylinder and twisting it into the air holes to get the gunk out, then re rinsing with lacquer thinner, then blowing compressed air through both holes. I repeated this about 6 or 7 times, then let the afm dry. VIOLA! saved myself up to $750 on new AFM (although i did buy another afm from bis_1315m who's a great guy to do biz with) I wouldn't do this to any electronic unless it is a complete last resort and your afm is fucked anyway. I hope this is helpful to those of you like me that sprayed carb cleaner irresponsibly.
