i saw it twice last night, it exceeded every expectation i had for it, and being one who has logged more than 100 hours on FFVII alone, i had extremely high expectations, fans of the game will not be dissapointed in the least, 11 out of 10

I remember when I was a kid - I loved Final Fantasy. One was great. Two was fantastic. Then I went to Japan and was able to see 2 and 3. I had already beaten part 2 in the USA, which was Japan's #4. I then learned enough Japanese to understand parts 5 and 6. I had Final Fantasy 6 [part 3 in the USA] and Chrono Trigger beaten over a year before they were released in the USA. Parts 5 and 6 were my favorites of the series, and still are. Part 7 came out when I was in Basic Training, back in 1997, and I bought it and a Playstation as soon as I got into tech school and was allowed such things. Though I played and beat it, I never could get into it the way I loved the ones that came before. In some way to me, after they went three dimensional, it became a big disappointment.
I have a SNES emulator on my PSP, and I put FF5, FF6 [actually, FF3 in the USA, as I never beat it in English!] and Chrono Trigger on the memory stick. Though a little slow in some parts if frame skip is not set to auto, it works great.
