Fan Clutch

So I took off my fan and fan clutch . And I was wondering if that pulley stays in place with the screws just sitting there?Because I was not going to put back the stock fan I was going to replace it with a electric one. Any info will help.

when u take the clutch fan off, there will be like 4 studs coming off that pully, just put 3 washers on each one of them and a nut, make sure u tighten them, and ur straight, i did th same exact thing. heres a pic to help.. good luck
