I finally got around to replacing my oil cooler lines today. I figured they'd be like $20 each from the dealer. $65 each. I should have just used trans cooler line from the parts store, but I guess I like the outer covering of the stockers :nono:.
All you need is to jack the car up and unbolt the 10mm hold-down for the lines, no other parts need to be removed to replace the lines. Some people might need to remove the lower radiator hose to access the feed line clamp on the oil filter housing. I used my fingers to slide the clamp in a nice position to take it off.
This is why I'm really posting this: Today, when I was paying for my lines, the parts guy (knows me and my car) asks me if I saw the 93 outside, I was like "No , where?", and he says that it must have just left. I go outside, and there is a beautiful, black 93 sitting right out front (why didn't I drive MY car to the dealer? :nono: ). I take a gander, its stick, I look out back, it said turbo. I walked away with my tail between my legs. It was all stock, very nice looking but the rims were DIRTY OMG!! Well just wanted to share, today was a nice supra day. It was toyota of wallingford.
