So i bought this new 7MGE clutch from F1 Racing on eBay for a decent price and or the most part it looks to be pretty decent.
trouble is I don't know what the guys were smokin when they included this release bearing. I mean it fits nicely on the input shaft and the clutch fork does engage it correctly. Problem is I cant for the life of me figure out sanely how to attach this bearing to the fork? Im looking and the included clip and I'm puzzled as hell.
Circled marks are the ends of the metal clip included with bearing. the lines on the fork depict the thin bore for the clip to go through.
I sold my old OEM Toyota release bearing with the previous kit, So I cant compare how it mounted to the fork. I know it had a different oval looking clip.
Does anyone have experience with this F1 setup ... did you guys do this?
Thanks,
Rich

So I decided to bed the crap outta the wire to try to get the ends into the drilled holes in fork tines. This is what i came up with while still preserving the retaining clip capabilities.

Here is the fork installed on bearing. seems to be working, Ican shake the crap outta it and it wont fall off and it moves with fluid like motion.
What do you think? Will it work?
