Sup guys. I just took my supra apart cause I gotta solve my exhaust leaks and boost creep problems that I have wit my ct26 57 trim. I took the manifold off and the turbo. I was told u gotta port the wastegate to fix the boost creep problem but I dont have a tool powerful enough to do that. I went to shop called rippmods one day and my friend rusty bought up the idea of puttin a external wastegate on the stock manifold cause his shop does that with srt4s. They weld the hole shut and weld on flange for a small wastegate on the sotck mani. My friend gave me a 38mm turbonetics evolution wg to try to put it on there but I really dont see it fitting. Has anyone ever done this or came close to an idea for usin an external wastegate wit the stock manifold. I searched this topic and found a guy usin another manifold wit a ct26 and also found a thread that had a turbo that didnt have a flapper on the wastegate hole and had bent pipe comin out of the dp wit a wg flange on it.
