And b4 you ask yes I have searched. I know now after starting my port and polish project that its not recommended to port match the exhaust side cause of the revision damn and all. My question is this. How much of a revision damn is needed to be effective. Reason I ask is that like I mentioned, I have already started my porting but have only done 1 exhaust port. I didnt not make the opening the same size as the gasket but did open the port up. Any expert opinions would be greatly appreciated. Can post some pics if needed, Thanks

here is a pic for you. Damn it I opened it up farther then I thought! There is still a small lip but not like stock as you can see. Its been a bad day all together. I was porting #3 and #4 this afternoon and didnt realize I went into the valve seat trying to grind away that lip below it. I had everything covered with tape to protect it, but ended going to far cause I couldnt see the angle on the seat due to the damn tape. Then I decided to uncover #1 and 2 that I did yesterday And found I hit a couple of those too.. Man I will be hot if this cant be fixed. I tried to take pics of the valve seats but my camera doesnt do well on closeups.

the single exh. port probably won't be a huge issue, but I'd seriously think about o/s valves now that you dinged the valve seats, I'm pretty sure it will cause blowby if left. The valves pretty much have to seat perfectly. Ferrea 1mm o/s valves come to mind, they're not cheap tho.
