Hello, I have uploaded another video about my Supra mk3!
The plan is to paint the axle hubs and the power steering pump, but before we can do that we need to install the ARP wheel studs!

Hello, I have uploaded another video about my Supra mk3!
We continue with the goal from the last episode. This was intended to be the second half of one episode but I think you prefer to get two episodes instead of one. So it's finally time to paint the axle hubs and the power steering housing and I'm going with Foliatec Carbon Metallic! And it looks just as good as you might have imagined! Why don't you have a look and decide for yourself? There is also a big bonus somewhere in this episode, can you find it?

Hello, I have uploaded another video about my Supra mk3!
We have already completed most of the drive axles already, but that only affects form, it's now time to do something about the function as well. The objective is to replace the grease, boots and to remove the last rust. Is this the original grease... or something else? What do you think? Considering the color I think it could be the original grease.

Hello, I have uploaded another video about my Supra mk3!
We removed the boots from the drive shafts and cleaned of all the grease in the last episode. So it's now time for the last prep of the drive shafts before final paint!

Hello, I have uploaded another video about my Supra mk3!
The drive shafts have been prepared in any way possible for what's about to happen. They have been disassembled, rust have been removed, ancient grease have been evicted and it's now time for the last painting session of the drive shafts!

Hello, I have uploaded another video about my Supra mk3!
It's time for the uprights to go from a painted trio to a full set! The one I've been doing a CAD (computer, not carboard) model of is back in the garage and needs a full paintwork while the other ones only needs to be painted where I didn't paint them the last time. Like always I'm using Foliatec paint and the color is Circuit grey.

It's time for another "FINALLY"-moment! The drive shafts are being assembled! Can you see any difference from when I took them off of my Supra?

Hello, I have uploaded another video about my Supra mk3!
I wanted to re-assemble the power steering pump today but comparing the condition of the hardware with the renovated parts I realize there is no easy way out. We need to take care of the hardware, the oily, rusty, worn nuts and screws. The first step is to clean them. I don't have an ultrasonic cleaner of my own but a friend did and he was kind and let me borrow it. He also taught me a trick in order to avoid cleaning the machine when you're done, put the dirty parts with cleaner inside a plastic bag and just use clean water on the outside of the bag. Genius!

Hello, I have uploaded another video about my Supra mk3!
If you haven't, go watch the previous two episodes and this will make so much more sense! I'm stepping up my hardware game with zinc plating! To take it one step further I'm also going with yellow passivation or yellow chromate. I have an episode where I talk about this kit and the process separately. Have a look and enjoy the transformation!

Hello, I have uploaded another video about my Supra mk3!
Hold your horses! The PS pump is coming together! If you go through my videos you can see that there is a lot of work (many episodes) between each assembly. We have finally reached one of those rare occasions and this time it's the power steering pump. In the last episode I finished the fasteners and in many of the previous episodes, the housing parts were worked on and finished. It's really nice seeing all parts coming together and I hope you can appreciate the process while watching this and hopefully also find the inspiration to do this on your own!

Hello, I have uploaded another video about my Supra mk3!
It's finally time to install some bushings in the rear uprights! Two bushings per upright. One is a polyurethane bushing from Energy Suspension, the only one I have left from the kit I installed in 2010. So.... 12 year old bushings?!?!?!? Yes, but they've been well kept, I think. The other one is actually a spherical bearing which was bought recently.

Hello, I have uploaded another video about my Supra mk3!
Now that I have a nice process to getting fasteners pretty before installation I'll do all of them! So I'm preparing half of the front suspension fasteners for zinc treatment and yellow passivation. First big step is of course sandblasting but I'm sparing you from showing all of that again. If you want to see my process when sandblasting there are a lot of older Supra videos where I show that!
