Well yesterday I had it running, I didn't mess with anything after the startups yesterday and today it won't start.

I checked the power, it's getting good power because the windows roll up fast, and everything is getting power. I turn the key to the start position and I get nothing.

It's an automatic, and I remember on my last car if it wasn't it park or neutral it would do the same thing, but it's in park. When I turn it over I hear a small clicking in the rear of the car. I called and talked to Mkiiiforme and he said it could be my fuel pump, but then again the motor would still turn over. I made sure the terminals were tight on the battery, and I made sure the ground lead to the block was connected and clean.

I don't know what it could be, it doesn't even turn over, but it has plenty of power, I tried to jump it with my dads truck and still nothing. All the fuses are in properly, I don't see any loose wires. Man, it really just bugs me.

The chilton's manual I have doesn't have anything useful to this problem, after looking through it for 30 minutes.. :1zhelp:

I will be posting a video soon of the problem.

Thanks guys
Matt

Make sure the little wire is connected to the starter correctly. The little locking tab likes to break off, and the connector will slip back and not get a good connection, or actually fall off.

It's under the intake. Put the driver's side on jack stands, and look up under the intake, just behind the motor mount, bolted right to the trans, next to the motor. If you know what a starter looks like, its kinda hard to miss...

I was getting a bad signal from the key to the starter and wired up a pushbutton start switch on the dash. It turns the eng over anytime you push it but the engine wont start unless the key is "on'. Try jumping a 12v source to the small wire connector on your starter. It wont start unless the key is 'on'.

And I do remember it started in reverse one day, because my dad thought he put it in park, and after we got the food (Drive thru) he started it up (The brake was on so it didn't go anywhere..)

So it could be the neutral start switch?

I understand, and I thank all for putting up with my non-sense questions. I'm going to pull the EFI fuse tomorrow and see if some of the things I fixed are still bugging the check engine light.

I'm really starting to think it is the neutral safety switch. Here is an excerpt from my manual (Chilton's)
"NOTE: On the Supra vehicles the back-up light switch is incorporated in the neutral safety switch assembly."

My back-up lights don't work, so I think this might be the problem..

My manual doesn't explain where the NPS is, so I will search the TSRM..

Is it hard to replace? And how much do they usually cost?

Thanks guys,
Matt
