It really depends how mechanically inclined both of you are and what tools are available.
There's instructions on how to remove a 7m in like 42 steps somewhere here so it shouldn't be too bad.

we are both mechanically inclined... i wouldnt say fuckin pros though... cuz we do nothin but work on OUR cars... i had tech school for 2 years... and we know whats what and how to work everything, and pretty much its just hand tools is where we get fucked... huh?
Very possible watch out for stripped bolts and such they will cause hours of pain and suffering, just use the how to as your bible and you'll do fine.
6pt sockets, PB blaster & plastic bags are your friend. put the bolts in bags and mark them as such (i.e. manifold bolts, radiator bolts, etc)

yeah man pretty much i just pulled mine out the other day it took me maybe 3 hours , but i had also done it prev. to take out my 7mge i am rebuilding, two jack stands and a cherry picker i mostly used hand tools but a impact gun might be needed for engine mounts and hard stuck bolts. But yeah dont rush the process you will be kicking your self later be gentle with the 21 year old plastic connectors if you need any further help let me know.
