Engine harness question

I just bought an engine harness from a 1989 turbo supra..

Is the harness completely compatible w/ a 1990 turbo engine /ecu?

I compared the wires, some are the same color however, some of the plugs were different colors. I.e. yellow instead of black or grey.

I have the original 1990 harness to compare to how ever.

Any advice is appreciated.

It's not compatible if the plugs are yellow. This is for 87-mid89 ecu. Grey is for newer years.

The difference is at the ECU:

Yellow ECU plugs = '86.5-'88 harness/ECU
Grey ECU plugs = '89-'92 harness/ECU
