Does that appear ok? I used the stone and drill method. There seems to be a ridge near the top though since the ring doesn't reach that area. Should it be ok to just put in new rings with the ridge still in place or should I grind it down somehow?

It looks like you really went at it...... That lip at the top is cylinder taper, you need to measure the bore at the top of the cylinder and the bottom and see if your in spec, check everything. The honing looks ok tho

That edge is usually sign that the cylinder is out of spec and needs to be bored.... if not you will get piston slap and the rings wont seal/seat properly.
