I have a 1989 supra which ive just swapped a 1jz into ill put up a build thread when its finished and pretty pictures have been taken.
Anyway took it for its first real drive today since the car has been fully assembled n the engine's been working. No problems at first and then the left indicator started indicating on its own. A few minutes later the fans all turned on, then off, then on high, then off, then stayed on high.
Then at the traffic lights the engine switched itself off, turned it on again, engine went off a few seconds later. Poped the hood had a look around, turned it on again, it went off. By now the lite was red, i was a bit peeved. I sat down n bashed the steering wheel and let a string of expletives ring out. Started the car again and it worked fine. Leaving me somewhat satisfied and bemused.
Anyway 15mins of experimentation and going randomely around in the back streets led me to believe that the location of the steering wheel controls the indicatators, possibly the fan and if its in just the right spot the engine switches off.... Like wtf?
Anyway ill sus out my wiring over the weekend and hopefully solve it, anyone else had similair problems???
