Electric fan with 2jz waterpump on 1jz?

Can electric fans work good for performance applications? Do they keep it more or less cool compared to a clutch fan? What all do I need for the waterpump? I didn't realize how much i would have to do in this area, so i didn't consider it with the rest of my costs. In other words, I'm almost broke, so I need a fairly cheap, yet reliable solution.

Look around and see who has old ones laying around. Mine went out and I found one for $45 locally. Lots of ppl swap to 2j when they're doing the swap, so you might have a few good unused ones around you... Best of luck, its a pita to do.

If you can't find one, you need the pump itself, the back housing, and pulley.

no it doesnt work, neither will the pulley or clutch itself.
