Made some small changes, went back for a little checkup and made a realization that my turbine housing is to small. My drive pressures are through the roof and we couldnt make any more than just over 25psi out the top.

So Im going to move from a .84 twinscroll to a 1.0 housing, finally upgrade my 3x12x22 intercooler and move a slightly larger spring in the WG.

Ill end up regearing the car too. From the old setup I still have the 4.30 setup in there and I have a 4.11 set on the way.

This thing is a hoot to drive and with the new RA1 rear tires it will stick 20psi in first (thats all it will build) and take all I can give it on the freeway. This rearend setup is really working well..

Car did 770/638 at 25psi on a 6466

Thanks. I have done some datalogging, and at 23psu there is 32psi pre intercooler. So a 4 inch ETS core is on the way. My new gears are here and Im going to try a 4 port boost valve instead of the 3 port so I dont have to change my spring.

Ive been doing some boost congrol testing for megasquirt, a new code in the beta form ribht now, and its very promising in closed loop.

Im not sure I would call it a downgrade. Its a fantastic turbo with lots of great results. On a mildy prepped 2j from FSR they dynoed just over 900whp. Theres a couple graphs on the net with comparible results between the 6266/6466/6766. The 64 spooled like the 62, but hung on power wise like the 67. On the street doing 3rd type dyno pulls, I have logged 31psi by 4200rpm, and that was with the small intercooler and restrictive turbine. On the freeway during a downshift, this thing hits hard and forces a smile on your face!!!

No, I didnt mean it as a downgrade, sorry for the confusion lol. Im wanting a more responsive turbo for street use and the 6466 seems to be the perfect turbo so far

We went out messin around the other night, for some reason nobody wanted to mess with me, so on the way home I was able to roll up on our group in third gear while datalogging. I didn't stab the gas, but rolled into it fast. Results, 0psi to 23psi (750ish whp) in 1.3 seconds, 52.8mph to 87mph in 2.5 seconds. You wont be disappointed.

Edit, that 52 to 87 was the roll in pull, by 60mph Im making 20psi, so 60 to 87 is 1.5 seconds.
