well this question is for all of those who make, or have a one peice drive shaft,

i need to know the length to tell the d/s shop to make mine

i have the ends, and the joints, but have not been under the car to measure. and not sure where to measure from,

i would assume from the 3rd member where the shaft bolts up, to the seal on the tranny.

this is the last thing i need before i swap my car over to a 5speed, so please, some one help me,

i know it will be cheaper to have a tube made vs, having the d/s shop do the measuring and installion.

any help would be great..

thanks guys!

Typically it's from the seal to the flat on the differential. Did you ask the DS shop what measurement they use?

Might want to specify the tranny you're going to be swapping in. I'm sure you're probably just swapping in a R154, but it's best to clarify.
