Hello Team,
I'm suffering from Supra withdrawals and having all these goodies (Maftpro, LC-1 wb, .040 over JE's +++) laying around is making it worse. I know malloynx has already shown us how well and reliable the Maftpro is, but todate, no one else has commented on their results with the unit. As you all know, the timing monitor is fully functional, yet it seems no one has used it. I'd like to hear from those of you who have stepped up and made full use of the Maftpro. For as long as we've been tuning our Supras, those of us without a standalone have been tuning blindly when it came to knowing what the ECU was doing with timing. Now that we have a tool that allows us to monitor it, why has no one used it or commented if they have?:nono:
My own reasons are, that my motor is sitting in pieces waiting for good weather and/or a garage to allow us to put it together! THIS COLD NY WEATHER IS NOT SUTABLE FOR OUTSIDE WORK! so for now I can only enjoy Supras vicariously through you all:drool:. So please chime in if you are currently using the MAFTPRO to its fullest pontential.

I'm in the same boat as you. I have MAFT Pro, but it's sitting beside the othe 50 new pieces waiting to go on a new motor. I'm curious as well....

My maftpro is working. I'm waiting on an LC-1 wideband to get it tuned. I will also setup the timing monitor and make some logs I suppose. When I have some free time that is.

So far I'd say im in the mid 400's power wise, untuned on my SP63@18psi. And thats at 10.0:1 AFR's (or even richer, dont know) I'm sure I can clip 500 with a tune and possibly 20psi.

And all that ebay stuff is working absolutely flawlessly. So haters stay off my nuts.

yea i'm too poor to buy alot of the aftermarket stuff on most websites, forcing me to shop on ebay for parts. I'm always caution about ebay parts because it's inexpensive. Like right now theres a "T04B T04 AR.60 TURBO CHARGER+7MGTE STAINLESS MANIFOLD" selling for less than $500. I don't know how good this turbo is(because i'm a newb when it comes to cars) but i know it's cheap for an upgraded turbo and manifold. i'm glad that the ebay parts are working out for you though.

i've been having a blast with mine, the timing monitor is the only thing i'm not using becaue i havn'et looked into setting it up yet, but map, boost control, and afr tracking off of my aem wb.... all working awesome. yesterday we went and did a bunch of 3'rd gear pulls and logged them on the laptop, pulled a little (well, a bunch) of fuel out of the middle of the rpm range and got my afr's consistantly 12:1 throughout, then turned on the afr tracking, car runs soooo good now.

Please give tons of infooooo because if the maft pro could save people hundreds of dollars by replacing a boost controller, safc, lexAFM/550 mod, and rise Fuel cut? I def would want to get it. Just got a MHG with studs in and i'm looking at ways to upgrade but i also need results and numbers and support for assurance. I've been doing lots of research on the new maft pro but havent seen many people post up their results.

If yall could, i'd be forever greatful :icon_razz

callng him is only gonna help him post up here so u can educate all of us in one shot ;)
i was wondering about the boost soleniod that u can use with the maftpro.. anyone using it with an external wastegate? i have a evc iv and wanted to ditch it so i can have everything coming/controlled from the maftpro but the boost soleniod only has two vacuum ports can someone chime in on how to set it up with an external wastegate?

im not sure i follow. all you need is 2 ports. 1 in and 1 out. from there you just need to setup the lines properly on the gate.

well the calling him part should be clear.. i think he sould reply on the forums so all of us can learn something new. and as far as the boost seloniod my evc iv had 3 ports and the maftpro seloniod has two.. dr jones had linked me a diagram on how to set up the vacuum lines. sort of.. seems like i have to tee one of the vacuum ports with a vacuum source and one of the ports from the wastegate.. or something like that.. :biglaugh:
