Ive searched alot and couldnt seem to find any pics of custom trunk panels. I gutted my trunk to replace the suspension and now im thinking about leaving out the nasty 20 year old plastics. I wanted to try making some very basic metal panels to protect the tail lights and cover the holes up. Having never attempted anything like that before i of course came here to learn.
Im curious if anyones done something like this before. Im not out to make it look good, just function so i can put stuff back there(grocery shopping) without it knocking out my tail lights or failing through the side cutouts lol.
What would be a good material for panels even? Later id like to lay down bedliner in the trunk, possible the custom panels as well.
