Cusco Hatch bar?

I've seen reference to a Cusco Hatch Bar a few times now, but I cannot find reference of it on Cusco's site. And when I do a Google search I can't find any places that sell it and therefore have info on it.

Searching for HATCH BAR on the forums turns up a bunch of build threads, but nobody seems to tell us anything about it.

Now, I know it's not just a rear strut brace, but other than that, what is this thing? What does it attach to and what purpose does it serve? And does anyone know a site that has some pics and info on it?

Thanks!

You have one in your car? I'm surprised I never noticed it before. It looks like it connects right under the rear hatch struts. Does this add significant structural rigidity? Or is it one of those mods that doesn't serve a lot of real purpose?

Also, did you ever get my message about those sawblades? I'd like to see if we can't come to some sort of deal so I can put decent rims back on my car.

It makes a large difference with upper chassis flex.
If you can hear your hatch creak when you go up driveways or into parking lots, this will make it just about disappear.

Does anyone know where they can by purchased and how much they run?
