hi i had my ct 26 rebuilt about 600 miles ago or so.today on way home from store i threw out white smoke like when the turbo whent bad.i pulled off acordian and checked shaft..ever so slight play when u go left 2 right.none when u push it in and out.i felt the oil feed that goes up into the turbo and it fells like it leaking there.would that make the smoke? or is any play in the turbo a rebuild sign? thanx for any and all input

A little play in the turbo is normal, it uses a journal bearing, so there is always going to be an oil clearance. You need to fix the leak though.
ya.i pulled off the turbo.gonna replace the lil paper gaskets and see if that helps.how little is little? i coluld probaly get a straw in ti after chewing onthe straw.is that normal?and therte is oil in intake tube,but the compresser wheel on the turbo is clean
