Well, I took my stock ct26 to forced performance here in Mckinney, Tx(about 50 miles north of Dallas) and the guy tore down the turbo right in front of me which was pretty cool, everything was gravy even after I told him the wastegate part of the housing was trying to crack and he offered to mill it out for me which would take care most of the cracks plus it would take care of the boost creep, he gave me the option of 57, 60 and 60-1 trim levels which I opted for the 57, he started cleaning up the shaft on his lathe and eventually sandblasted the exhaust housing when he noticed a crack that went from the manifold flange to the wastegate opening. He told me he wouldnt continue any further till I found another housing, he mentioned he doesnt like building grenades on purpose so I spent half of today at the salvage yards to no avail. I dont think he would like me welding the crack up, i know iron will never take a weld to it. Anybody know where I can find a good housing or places to look? Any suggestions would be awesome. Thanks guys.
