Considering a Thermal Research muffler for custom exhaust.

I'm looking at here in the next couple of weeks at putting my rims on and running a custom exhaust on the current 7mge but for a future 7mgte maybe 1jzgte.
I can't decide between the 2.5" (better with current motor and still okay with future motor) and the 3" piping (lose low end with current motor but bigger gains with the future motor).

I am considering a Thermal Research muffler like these ( http://www.andysautosport.com/toyota/1986_1992_supra/performance/exhaust/mufflers/thermal_research/ )

I had a full Thermal exhaust on my 94' Integra years ago. I love it. It sounded really deep and mean. It didn't sound like your usual ricer.

Thermal exhausts for turbo honda's sound great and they have very good quality and excellent fitment as well.
