After i had gotten a BHG ive gradually been taking
the motor apart and today after taking the manifold off i noticed
from #6 all the way to #2 exhaust ports looked wet with oil which
i kinda expected but the #1 was dry, like noticably try than the others
like theres been no oil at all that came out of that one?

Then after taking my Brand new 57 trim CT26 off i noticed alot of black
oil coming from the back side of it, no milky residue or coolant is
in the oil though, any issues with that or is it normal for a BHG to do this?

After all done and well im taking my motor to a machine shop and having it
decked and put the MHG on, Some other questions i have is there a way i
can like Flush my motor so to say to get all the crappy oil coolant mix out of there etc etc?

Thanks in advance =]

I know a lot of people will call me extreme for this, but when I bought my car, it had a hole in the side of the block. I bought a motor with a BHG, and I completely rebuilt it. New bearings, pistons, rings, machined crank, re-conditioned rods, ARP rod bolt, and the all new gaskets, ARP head studs, and fully machined the block. Now I don't have to worry about rod knock. The machine shop should be able to clean the block for you, but if they hot tank it, have all freeze plugs replaced.

high pressure washer. just make sure to dry and put some oil on the surface of everything so nothing rusts after.

best just to have it hot tanked. usually its like 20-50 bux

When the head is off you'll see inside. Perhaps the #1 got washed, was it blowing steam ?

Oil dripping out the turbo back ? Everytime I pull the turbo off the oil comes from the return line, never saw oil at the exhaust blades.

If the motor is out then you'll of course want to drop the oil pan and inspect the bearings. Coolant and oil in the oil destroys them in no time at all. To get the block freshened up for MHG you have to strip it totally.

After the deck was done I Power washed the block - then quickly tape the outside bolt holes etc and spray paint it, wd40 the cylinders and top bottom of block. That's how I did it but others would dissaprove.

Prices range - I paid $300 just to have both surfaces beautifully flat and smooth and even bought the shop breakfast. I didn't want it belt sanded ! I was absolutely fanatic about getting that done right. Had another head done for $50 that was just as beautifully smooth.

If they offered gold plating that offered extra BHG resistance I would have gotten it.

If you have the block honed (not that ghetto ass 3 stone or your balls on a spring deal) professionally you have to get a bucket of soapy water and brush and scrub the grit out of the cylinder walls.
