hey guys my damn pilot bearing is all messed up so im purchasing a new clutch kit i was wondering what clutch is recomended . . something that`ll handle 350 horses or so .. sorry if that makes no sense

two things:
1st, pick up a blind bearing puller. You will just waste your time without it.
2nd, stay away from SPEC clutches. I know there is a lot of people that endorse them, but I have bought two separate SPEC III's for my 1J swap only to find them damage beyond use, wasting over $500 in turn.
I ended up with an ACT clutch. It's kind of jerky on take off, but it seems to be handling things well.

everyone is gonna tell you what they have anyway, so i use an rps stage 2. great clutch, although it is the only one i have tried since i swapped the auto for the 5 speed

i liked the SPEC i had it took a beating for a year on tissimo's car and then a year on mine and 3 months with a 60-1 then back to stock and i sold it with it still holding good.
seems like a damn good clutch to me
overall it prolly had about 150 launches on it with 300whp on both cars
the spec stg 3+ on my car is working good.. rakkasan what was wrong with them? Spec or the retailer should of replaced..

The first disk I bought had a flared piece of metal below the friction bearing surface that would have tore up the flywheel had it not been caught. The second disk was just plain warped :icon_conf
