Test drove a brown mahogony pearl 89 today (never even seen that color before) all is well but i think the clutch is worn, due to the slippage.

I also noticed that the pedal doesn't have much clutch feel (the only grab? feeling is very near the firewall). Could it just be a matter of adjusting the clutch pedal? or is it most likely a clutch job is in order? thanks

It's probably just worn out. If a slipping clutch is cuased from incorrect adjustment of the clutch pedal freeplay, the disengadge point is going to be when you first start pushing on it, not at the bottom like you're describing...

My pedal used to feel like that but it was the slave cyl. And I had no slip when in the boost, but since I fixed that its slowly started to slip when it's warmed up so now its new clutch time:cry:.
