Hey guys. I am clutch hunting for my supra and looking for a clutch that can hold approx 500hp/tq. 1JZ/R154. 6 puck/chatter does not bother me. I have read that some people like the spec stage 3 and ACT clutches. I expect a stiff pedal with a tough clutch. Originally I was looking into a twin disk setup but buying a house and helping the gf through school cut my funds into fractions of what they were. I am hoping to spend in the under $600 range.

The car will be a daily driver/road trip car, and to the local track twice a year when its open.

What are you using and how do you like it? Any advice or opinions are more than welcome. I searched here last night and alot of the clutch talk was around 2006. Anything new that people like? I have read about the Driftmotion clutch recently. I would like to get at least 50,000km out of it. Most kits come with the TOB and pilot bearing. Anything else you would recommend changing?

Thanks for the time and space guys.

With new thrust washers mine walked.

I will never roll the dice on a 3200 pound pressure plate again. Thats why I spent the coin and got the triple plate.

Ive got right under 500hp and the RPS 3200PP. Ive had the PP on my 1JZ for almost 2 years now with out any issues. Pedal feel is very hard but not unbearable. And its my DD.

I've got the Driftmotion stg3. Pedal is not too stiff, and engagement feels very similar to stock(given I haven't driven with a stock clutch in awhile)
My only grief is the chatter when letting it out slow from a dead stop, it can get tricky.
