Hey guys,

I've noticed since I got my Supra that in my lower gears (ie 1, 2 and 3rd) I loose acceleration after a certain RPM. The RPM keep gaining steadily, but the power's not making it to the ground. Starting from a stop I'll loose acceleration around 3000 - 4000 RPM. 2nd, I'll loose it at between 3500 - 4500 RPM..... It wasn't this bad at the beginning.

I just need to know if there's anything else that would cause this. I can't afford to even replace the clutch as it is right now. I don't think it's my diff. I had this prob with my 4.30 and now my 3.93. I'm running on a w58 if that makes any difference.

Oh, one last thing.... starting last night I'm noticing a little shudder when I start up from a complete stop. If I'm rolling at all it's fine.

Thanks!

Yeah, to me as well. I just want to make sure that's it. There's nothing in the tranny which would slip is there?

Yeah mine's doing the same thing. I was told by the guy I bought mine from that the clutch was going out...I had my car in the shop a few months ago and they told me it was going out. So...I think it may be a clutch problem. Though I have a nice pretty new Spec stage 2 clutch sittin in my room waiting for a good flywheel! I'm gonna change it out when I pull the motor to change the HG for some NA-T fun also!
