it's fine, you just got a little water in the plug valley, if you followed directions it says to let the car warm up and evaporate all the excess water, it will go away...

if you have a turkey baster, or even some paper towel... try to get as much of the water out of where the spark plugs are as possible. Take the plug wires off and you will be able to see that it is full of water by the plugs, get as much water out of there as possible then run the car for a while to evaporate as much of the remaining water as possible...

then if you know it's bad why would you pull it out?

If you pull out the spark plug while there is water in the spark plug valley you will get WATER in the combustion chamber.

this did happen to me after I took my rear hood seal out and went through an automatic car wash... water ran down the windsheild and under the hood... Water ran ontop of the motor and went into the little holes in the spark plug valley cover.

I used a turkey baster to get as much water as possible out from under the cover, then soaked up as much as I could with a some paper towel jammed into the spark plug wire holes.. then I fired it back up and let it ran for a while.. it was only running on 4 maybe 5 cylinders since it fried one or two of my plugs.. let it warm up enough to evaporate any remaining water then I proceeded to change out my plugs and wires while I was at it... just make sure all the water is gone before you change your plugs out.

really it's not all that bad... just pull the plug wires off the plugs and get that water out of there.. throw the plug wires back on and then run er for a bit.. pull the plug wires off again and make sure no water is left... then go ahead and replace your plugs.

I had this problem when I washed off my motor. I took all the plug wires out, stuck my shop vac hose into the spark plug holes(which fit great) and sucked all the water out by moving the hose in circles, then put the wires back on, bam, car runs great. G/L
