my 1jz clip arrived today and the intake and exhaust manifolds have oxidation buildup and look nasty. any tips on cleaning them up? anything special to apply to them or just start hacking away with the wire brush? Thanks!

Yeah I know it's not too bad, but I still dont like the looks of the stuff. I guess it looks a little better in pictures

get in there with the elbow grease, is my guess. use some heavy duty cleaner on all the metal parts to remove oxidation, then give it a good coating of sealer or protectant wax (if they make such a thing) to keep it from coming back to the sparkly surface youve just made.
