Car Stalls when raining

hey guys, I recently drove my supra in the rain the other day and whenever i ran thru a decent puddle (one that actually makes the car feel like its on water) on the passenger side, and i came to a stop, the car would stall. I would have to let it sit for 5-10 minutes before it would start again, it would crank but not turn over. This happened about 5 times before i made it home. Any ideas on what this may be?

It says in your sig that you have a cold air intake? How is that setup?

Yup its probably water getting into your "custom hack"

If not, check what parts of your ignition are getting wet when you hit a puddle.

Distributer cap is get wet inside,Take it off wipe it dry and buy a new o ring and stay out of the water

its not the intake, the filter was dry when i checked it.

In NY its kinda hard not to go thru big puddles when they are everywhere lol, specially when the roads flood. I live in queens, so there are alot of hills where hillside ave always gets flooded when it rains.

I'll check the distributor cap...thanks
