ok i got the 1g supra back and once aqgain its cutting off when you give it alot of gas. i have tried changing fuses and checking everything i know to check. any ideas? when you shift from 1st to 2nd it dies you cant drop the clutch and restart it, you cant give it gas because it acts like the car isnt even running. the only way to get the car to start back is to bump the ign. switch and it will take off again. it mainly does it when its hot outside. its not fuel cut but im not sure what else it could be. please help.

I can't see how a boost leak wouldn't kill it...

AFM sees "X" amount of air, calculates "Y" amount of fuel. When X != Y , dead. :bigthumb:

In my TCCS book, It says for "engine stalls but can be restarted" can indicate a "vehicle speed sensor" for a possible component.. "Open or short" in that circuit for the type of trouble code 42..

Also says it could be the Ign switch, EFI relay, ISCV, Ignitor, Ign. coil, manifold pressure sensor, air flow meter, and or the CPS as possibilities.

th eign switch has been changed.the air flow meter is the same as an na. which i have an extra. as far as the ignitor coil, mani. pres. sens. and cps i would have to check. do you think it could be from a fouled out dist. cap and rotor button? yeah yeah i know it has that dumb crap that most turbo cars dont have.
