I did some minor work on my engine with an oil leak from my distributor, and a stiff tps sensor. Everything is back together and timed right but the car just wont run past 45 seconds. The idol shoots up and down, and it starts to miss. When I give it gas it will the engine will run fine untill I let go and drops rpms and dies right away without idoling. I dont get it, did I mess something up... The car did sit from october to feb without being started, and the battery went dead. Could it be something with the comp. If you got any ideas im fully open to them! Thanks.

Check for codes first. Then we can get a good sense of whats going on.
If none are present then start with:
making sure the afm is plugged in good.
Then try to unplug the afm and see if the idle changes.
Check for vacuum leaks.
check your grounds
check for boost leaks

No codes. It was shooting a 51 and a 24 but I fixed that , and they arnt blinking anymore. Its also shootout out alot of white white exhaust, and very dirty water thats full of black. It smells super rich as well, but flew past aircare the last time I took it through. Thanks for the subgestions, ill try that...
