cant feel boost

ok so me and my friend decided to check my valve clearance..we do it..then after we are done..i decided to put 1 of those "speed source" lower intercooler pipe on..and i did..so i take it for a test drive..i push it and the boost gauge is reading but i don't feel anything at all..all i hear is air. the blow off valve works fine..nothing seems to be wrong..i just cant feel boost at all..any suggestions?

oh i already tried searching up so yah =/ no luck

might be a small boost leak? did u check all the fittings when putting on the new pipe?

yeps i removed it and all then put it back on..this didnt happen when i had my cracked stock intercooler pipe on soo i have no idea

Re-tighten all of your clamps, it's probably something simple like you just forgeting to tighten one of them when putting it all back on. That, and make sure your couplers are fully on and that the clamps are clamping down the coupler to the pipe itself.

You can spray soapy water over all the clamps/connections and look for bubbles as you rev the engine.

Chances are that if it wasn't leaking before and now it is, it's something that you did. Whether you didn't seal the new ic pipe or you created a new leak on an old pipe, you gotta get out there and find that leak!

Carb cleaner sprayed on the pipes will also let you know when you've found the leak as the idle will jump once the carb cleaner has entered the intake.

it will still boost, but the over the top richness will bog it down to the point that it feels like it's not boosting...

so i checked my intercooler pipe, that wasnt it..i dont know where else to look..man i hate this
