cam questions and crap

so i have had a bit of a stumble on a cold soak in my car. so first i pulled the plugs to find #3 cylinder a bit gunked up. but not surprising considered the previous owner ran the car with no air filter. no oil gettin on the plugs. so bein a mechanic i decided to pull off the valve covers. heres a pic

So question number on is if anyone agrees with me that it looks like one of the cams has been changed and is there a way to identify them?

my car ticks a little and i was thinkin it was lifters so i decided to measure clearance. this is a pic of the specs from my garage wall after a few beers but all are in spec except intake cyl 1 @ .003.

then i ran into crap after crap and repaired everything as i tore everything apart. this is where i am at lol

i thought some of you knew what you were doin. is there any identification of 7mgte or 7mge cams??????????????
stamps or somethin?

There may be a stamping on them that shows the difference, but it's doubtful. The only way to tell is to measure them: http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=EM&P=48
