Ive been wondering if i should post this or not because its kinda funny yet embarassing, Last weekend the whole crew took a trip to our local 8th mile for Runday Sunday. You run all day for $15 bucks then its like $1 per time slip or somethin like that, Most of the time we just run to have fun and dont care about times so my brother brought out his 85 omni GLH turbo this car has been a WIP for awhile its still got the stock 2.2 but its on 15 psi with bigger injectors and it pulls pretty hard IMO, Anyways my aunt starts the shit talkin between my brother and myself and i figure what the hell why not. We line up and right when we launch i look over and hes right there. (his car hooks GOOD) I shift into second and look over and im barely pullin away im talkin like 3 inches barely pullin. I get to the top of second and look over and my dash is about inline with his front tire, I go for third.........and fucked it big time completely missed 3rd made and a horrid sound that made me wanna >> :cry: so i just coasted threw the lights there was no point after that.

Ive always had a problem with getting 3rd right in this car while shifting fast, I seem to hit the side of the gate and either punch the dash or think im in gear and let the clutch out. (which is what happened this time)
I got too exicted! :biglaugh: I guess i need driver mod. :biglaugh:
But i did beat him later in the day,but his car was breaking up real bad and would barely run so i dont really count it as a win i wanna beat him when hes runnin good. :naughty: It really sucks because my goal was to run somewhere in the 10's that day and i had it by the nuts and let it go with one shift.
