Please help! CT26 (60-1 trim upgrade) the boost is set at (boost controller) 15 psi...In 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear, 15 psi is not a issue. However in 4th and 5th it could only manage 8 psi before boost drops back. The car is running all stock pipes including the BOV. There is oil in the accordian tube, afm, filter, and coming from the turbo lines that attaches to the boost controll module. I do not recall having oil on any of these parts previous.

Are you saying that you dont have another BOV beside the stock one? I would change that ASAP the stock BOV is only good for 10psi. Not to mention you are running 15psi on the stock pipes :slap: I would change the bov first and see if that helps..... Whar are you tunning/running the car with? Lexus AFM and SAFC, MAFT-PRO, MAP ECU ect????

look for a saab bypass valve. if you are smoking blueish smoke then well your turbo is most likely gon ebut it doesnt sound like it yet... oil does accumilate in your pipes but it shouldnt be that bad.. but if there is oil in your airflow meter then that is indeed strange... i couldnt see any logical means as to why that was unless you were useing k&n.. maybe a picture of your setup might help?

and is oil actually coming from your oil lines? or is there just like oil vapor accumilating on the outside of all of these things? like after a week you need to wipe your engine bay down because its oiley?

Are you sure the oil in the AFM is motor oil?

Oil in the IC pipes are normal ...... but you get rid of it by cleaning them and adding a catch can

Yes it's motor oil and dripping out the filter too (ran it hard Friday night but didn't think this would happen). What's up with the boosting issue? Anyone?

Probably vapor accumulating into a stream? My setup looks stock, all the goodies are basic and hidden. Before the car ran great, no spool, no oil issues. Friday night I abused it many times, there was a slight drop in oil pressue to 37 psi from 41 psi...I babied it home check the oil and it lost like 1/4 of a quart. I added 1/2 quart drove the car around the next day, oil pressure was normal, car ran normal on the street, until last night I got it on the freeway (oil pressure normal) but low boost and dropping off in high gear, hence the posts. Anyone else?

are you leaking oil anywhere visibly? i think what he meant was oil could be leaking and burning into a vapor and going into your intake
