So i've got an 87 supra...7mgte...some minor mods including a BIC divorced downpipe. I love the downpipe and it sounds good. the problem that i have is that my boost pressure is not stable. it will slowly creep up and keep building at high rpm's until i either shift into the next gear or let off...or i hit fuel cut. so obviously my wastegate is not letting the exhaust flow enough so the pressure just keeps building. my question to everyone is what's the easiest way to solve this problem without spending tooooo much money? im 23, tool bills, school loans, rent, not much money left over after my microwave dinners haha. weld the wastegate shut w/new manifold and external wastegate? any ideas?
