backpressure popping

i know the popping is from not recirculating the bov .is that back pressure also or is it something different , also would the popping cause any harm to the turbo or the engine, or would it decrease efficency of the engine any knowlege is much appreciated thanks

the popping (assuming youre talking about en exhaust backfire) is an excessive amount of fuel caused by venting metered air (the air has been measured, ecu adds fuel for it, then you remove air, you get a temp rich condition) and no, it wont damage anything except maybe a cat or a baffled muffler
