autometer gauge or ebc boost display

My autometer boost gauge and my ebc are showing two different boost readings. For example, when my ebc says im boosting 14.6psi, the autometer gauge says like 16psi. Is the autometer considered an accurate gauge? wich is likely to be right , the autometer gauge or greddy ebc boost display? Right now since the autometer reads higher I set boost by it now, dont want to blow anything up.

does the needle for your autometer sit directly at 0 when the car is off?

Do you have both gauges tapped into the same vacuum source?

when the car is off the needle on autometer boost gauge does sit at 0. Both gauges are tapped into same source, just cant see where ebc is tapped in at. I didnt install the ebc, but I know it shares the same source as the autometer because when I disconnected the line that the autometer is tapped into, both gauges went to 0.

Something else I have noticed is that when the autometer is showing 18hg in vacume the ebc shows -99 for vacume but at other times may show -94 or so. The autometer is about the same always on vacume but the ebc varies. maybe the line to the ebc is pinched or something, ill check that as well.
