Does anyone know or has found out that the a340e I believe (correct me if im wrong) is the same tranny as a AW-4 that Jeep runs in there vehicle's? Only reason I'm asking because the guy I bought my car from rebuilt the tranny using a Jeep Tech Manual. So I figured I would ask the auto tranny experts to get there views. The cars shifts just fine and no problems with the trans.

Your tranny should be good to go. According to this link, yes they are basically the same (made by Aisin-Warner): http://www.brackmann.org/berkeley/Jeep/trans.htm

As far as the differences between the two, this site lists the following:

The AW4 is
also known as the A340 in Toyotas, but it's the same trans. The main
trans body should interchange on the Jeep bell housing. The only
difference I've seen is that some of the Toyotas (specifically the
Supra) use an electronic servo in place of the TV cable. From what I saw
the servo mounts in the same location as the cable, and should be
replaceable with a cable. The valve body is calibrated differently, but
valve bodies will interchange.
