Well, now that my motor is purring like a kitten, I have encountered another issue, and this one is pure crazyness. My linkage is not matching up with the gear selector. For example, I put the it in park, but the tranny is reverse. It is one notch off. When I took it apart it was correct, now Park=reverse, Reverse=neutral etc.. we messed with it until 1am this morn, and cannot figure this out. Any ideas? I would be greatful..

DUH!! I found in the TSRM in AT19 about the adjustment, and I'll try that later today. I shoud have read the TSRM before posting. Sorry

all you have to do is line the shift linkage in the tranny with the line on the tranny you might need a rag to clean it off to see the line but i believe if you push it all the way foward then take it back 2 times it should be in nuetral I believe good luck :biglaugh:
