Auto to Manual, need your HelP

alrighty, i want to go from auto to manual.. love the feeling, i recently got my hands on a manual tranny from one of my friends, i got the tranny, pedals, what looks like the master cylinder... whatelse do i need besides the obvious flywheel and clutch?? oh its a (jdm) 7m-ge...

well for one the master cylinder looking object is called slave cylinder and 2 off the top of my head your going to need the drive shaft also

You need an ECU for the manual too for your engine if you already Haven't got it. Possibly tranny mounts too but can't remember

it's been covered alot,

crosse brace
clutch lines,
inspection covers (if any)
flywheel, clutch & PP
drive shaft,
tranny wings,
rubber clutch lines, clips to hold the clutch lines onto the body mounts.
shift boot
should replace the shifter bushings.
along with through out bearing and piliot bearing

you dotn have to go with a new ecu, you just have to find the write up on jumping the neutral start safty switch the auto used.. (it's a matter of making a jumper wire and installing it into the harness. )

You do NOT need to change Ecu's.

you Wire the backing lights, nuetral safety, etc from the plugins that use to plug into the automatic. find the ones u need and tap into them with the 5 speed. do some more Research.
