I don't know how I did it but I managed to lose a an inner tie rod http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-...003QQitemZ130081779382QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V and I don't know which one I have still, a Left or Right side. does it matter or are they exact same I can't believe I lost ONE.
Are L+R tie rod ends the same.

thanks alot bro. how do I tell if I need to replace tie rods...I just did ball joints yesterday and It made a big difference. I only bought the ball joints because a tire shop told me my car could not be aligned without replacing them.Dr Evil said:

On the ball and cup type you need to check for excessive free movement , in the same way as the lower ball joints .
A knocking sound when going over uneven ground can also indicate wear in both types of tie rod . HTH
