hey guys

im looking into gettting a Toyota Supra 86-92 Engine Longblocks - Rabid Chimp MK3 7M-GTE from HPF.com

that way i can just bolt it in and not worry about local mechanists screwin with my old motor. he said i was lookin around $1200 or so and $500 more for ARP's and greddy HG. so 1700 with no warrenty or $2000 with 1 year warrenty...

i just wanted to know if any of you guys had tried this motor from HPF?

ive got a completely rebuilt short block for sale for 1k, ARP rod bolts, new pistons, crank, etc etc, and a rebuilt head thatll need to be surfaced for a mhg you can have for 400.

with all that, youd have a completely rebuilt motor; start fresh!

im flexible with the price too, if youre interested.

the head and block are not assembled together, arp head studs would be included.

ive posted this motor for sale a while ago, many tire kickers, no buyers. you can find that thread to see all the specs.

cliffs notes: every single thing in the short block is new. everything.

the head is a 65000 mile head, rebuilt just because.

well, old oil pump, old bearings, old rings and $2K pricetag. Seems not worth it...

yeah, the only thing is the machinest in town doesnt offer any kinda warrenty for forced induction motors. sooo if i drop a grand on it, put it in and fire it up and it blows all 6 rods out the oil pan... there is nothing i can do.
if he would warrenty it id go for the rebuild. he does excellant work... just the no warrenty worries me... especially spendin that kinda money

give him the motor with no intake manifold and no exhaust manifold +turbo and tell him its a 7m GE.
