Any experience with ACL bearings?

was it them that are rebadged Clevites, or was it some other company? anyway anyone got anything to say about them? they look promising.

Not heard anything bad about them. There are really only a hadfull of bearing makers in the world, and clevite does not make all their bearings either. They rebadge some of them from someone else themselves.
