Hey, a few other maft pro users out there have experienced this and so do i. the problem is that on a cold start the car will run lean and be out of tune until it warms up and you TURN OFF the car and RESTART it WARM. then the car runs normal and in perfect tune. during the time that it is lean after the cold start VF shows 0 volts. but if i turn the car off then crank it right back up the vf will go to 2.5 and the lean condition is gone. well to battle this i put a .5k ohm resistor where the ecu plugs into the water temp sensor. now when i turn the car on cold, vf goes right to 2.5v and there is no lean problem and no warm restart needed to run right. i also set the maft pro to add 15% afterstart compensation to make up for the ecu not richening the mixture when cold anymore. so are there any adverse effects to this? thanks
